Over the past six years I have completed more than 150 miles of swimming to provide educational opportunities for children and young adults in the developing world. The total of all donations for the Laps for Learning project is over $30,500.00, made possible by the generosity and commitment of donors like you.
In 2012, Laps for Learning raised over $4,000 to benefit the TOUCH Scholarship program of the Corvallis-Uzhorod Sister Cities Association (C-USCA). This scholarship program has provided Ukrainian youth with the education and vocational training opportunities to become skilled, productive adults.
This year Laps for Learning donations will benefit the education programs of CHOICE Humanitarian, a Salt Lake based 501(c)(3) organization. You can view their website and learn about their successful model of humanitarian aid at: www.choicehumanitarian.org.
