2012 Laps for Learning Recipient

This year, Laps for Learning will benefit Corvallis-Uzhhorod Sister Cities Association: TOUCH Scholarship Program. 

TOUCH Scholarship Program
The Scholarship Program for youth in The  Project (Take One Ukrainian Child’s Hand) was initiated in 2010. The funds raised through this endeavor help cover the expenses of educational opportunities  at a vocational training facility, a university, or through an exchange program. Four or five students have benefitted each year through these scholarships which average from $400-$800 per year.

In a world with such a wealth of knowledge, there is need for compassion and charity.  Your contribution to Laps for Learning brings hope to those who wish to learn but lack the opportunity to do so.
