One of my favorite projects was providing much needed library books for the Smiling Children's Library in Kathmandu, Nepal. With happy faces the children were elated to receive these books and thanks to Laps for Learning, this gift continues to bring smiles to the faces of the children who live on site at a carpet manufacturing plant.
Our group at the Smiling Children's Library in Kathmandu, Nepal. Working with Nepal Hope we were able to supply books to stock the shelves in the little library on the grounds of a carpet making company. Employees and their families live at the enclosed compound.
